Trip to Southeast Oklahoma

Last weekend Trevor, his parents, and I loaded up the pups and headed east. The plan was to make our way down Talimena Senic Drive on Saturday, and visit Robber's State Park (in Wilberton, OK) and do some hiking on Sunday.

Other than a gassy Chester, the ride was fairly uneventful. The views on Talimena drive were spectacular! If you're ever in that part of the state, I highly recommend you take a trip out there. I didn't want to overload Instagram, so here are a few more pictures from the weekend.

This view is to die for.

At a scenic stopping point. Pictures just do not do it justice.

Robber's Cave State Park

My boys.

Paisley and I in Robber's Cave.

A beautiful pond we found while hiking.

Those colors!

They did so much hiking with us and were completely worn out by the time we made our way back to the car. They slept like this all the way home and through the night.

It's hard to believe this was just last weekend. As I type this I am watching the snow come down and all of the fall leaves are long gone. So happy we were able to enjoy our last real fall-like weekend.
